Woodgrange Park Cemetery in Manor Park is a private Victorian cemetery, established in 1889 and still open for new burials, with a large section serving the Muslim community. Its older Victorian memorials can show typical limestone and marble weathering, while newer stones need routine cleaning. We carry out stone-safe grave and headstone cleaning here, respecting the site’s own rules and the customs of its Muslim burial area.
About Woodgrange Park Cemetery
Woodgrange Park Cemetery was established in 1889 by the Tottenham Park Cemetery Company and remains privately owned and open for burials in Manor Park. A large railed section near the chapel was acquired by the Muslim Patel Burial Trust and now functions as a Muslim burial area. It is the only cemetery in the country protected by its own Act of Parliament, and is open to visitors daily.
Access: Woodgrange Park is privately owned, uniquely protected by its own Act of Parliament, the Woodgrange Park Cemetery Act 1993. It is open to visitors daily, 8am to 7pm, and memorial work in the Muslim burial section follows the Patel Burial Trust’s own customs.
