Eden Valley Woodland Burial Ground is a green burial site near Edenbridge, where graves are marked with wood or flush stone markers set among bluebell woodland rather than traditional headstones. These markers can become obscured by moss, leaf litter and woodland growth. We carry out gentle, stone-safe marker cleaning and plot tidying that respects the site’s natural burial rules.
About Eden Valley Woodland Burial Ground
Eden Valley Woodland Burial Ground is a 22-acre green burial site near Edenbridge, planted with bluebell woodland and young oaks. Open to people of all faiths and none, it draws families from south London and across the Kent and Surrey border. Graves are marked simply, in keeping with its natural, low-intervention approach to burial.
Access: Run privately by Eden Valley Burials rather than a council or church. As a natural burial ground, memorial work is limited to simple marker cleaning and tidying — no monumental stonework, in keeping with the site’s woodland character.
