Yes. South Ealing Cemetery dates from 1861 and much of it is Victorian — limestone, sandstone and marble that greens with algae and lichen, and lettering that has faded back into the stone. We clean these gently, with stone-safe methods and no pressure washing, and follow Ealing Council’s rules for memorial work on site.
About South Ealing Cemetery
Established in 1861 and covering about 21 acres, South Ealing Cemetery was formerly known as Ealing and Old Brentford Cemetery. It has two Grade II listed chapels of 1861 by Charles Jones, 184 Commonwealth war graves and one Belgian war grave, and remains open for new graves and for cremated-remains plots.
Access: Run by the London Borough of Ealing, so memorial work needs council permission. An active restoration programme runs here with the Ealing Parks Foundation and volunteers, and the listed chapels on site are subject to heritage restrictions.
